Real coaching, by real people
Marvic and Miriam aren't hiding behind an app. They are with you in person at Tal‑Qroqq, week after week. The app is how the coaching keeps working between sessions — not a replacement for it.
We are Marvic and Miriam — a personal training duo who run small-group sessions at the Tal‑Qroqq Sports Complex, Malta's national sports facility in Gżira. Marvic programmes your training. Miriam, a state-registered dietitian, writes your nutrition. We coach by your side, week after week — and the app keeps the work going on the days between.
The work that matters happens in our notebooks, in our sessions, and in the conversations you have with us between them. The app is built around that — never instead of it.

Every workout is hand-programmed by Marvic. Every nutrition plan is hand-written by Miriam — a state-registered dietitian. Templates and AI coaches stop where the lasting transformations start.
Sessions are 2–4 clients matched on goal, level and schedule. You get the focus of a private without the price — and the quiet support of others doing the same work next to you. 1-to-1 is available on request.

Programmed by Marvic. Run by you. No guesswork.
Every workout is built by hand for you — your goals, your injuries, your equipment, your week. The app delivers it set by set, tracks every lift, and tells your trainer what really happened. No AI coach. No template library. Just your programme.

Walking is the single biggest lever for the people we coach. The app gives you fresh routes from your front door, the trails we have personally walked across Malta, and a quiet way to walk with other clients when motivation dips.
Read moreYour meal plan, your trainer's work. The app just makes it easier to live with.
No app on its own can write you a real diet. We do that — Marvic and Miriam — for every client, by hand. The app is what makes it easy to log a meal in three seconds, see whether the day actually fit the plan, and shop without thinking about it twice.

The hardest part of training is not the training. It is the eighteenth Tuesday in a row when you don't feel like it. The Journey system was built to carry you through those days — small wins, gentle nudges, an arcade between sets, and a forgiving streak that does not punish you for being human.

You can text your trainer when something hurts. You can voice-note about a meal that surprised you. You can share a tough session with three people who get it. The community layer is small, moderated, and built for people who would rather be supported than performed at.

Most apps pull wearable data and bury it in a graph nobody opens. We use it the way a real coach would: an amber readiness day means today's HIIT becomes a walk. A red night means we rest. You wake up to a plan that already accounts for how you actually slept.

The change is happening. It just takes weeks before the mirror catches up. Progress tracking is built so you can prove to yourself that the work is landing — aligned photos, smoothed weight trends, and benchmarks your trainer schedules at the right cadence.

I have used MyFitnessPal for eight years. I switched to MyPT in January and have logged 84 consecutive days. The photo scan is the difference. I stopped opening MFP because logging took longer than eating.
I have done four diets in my life. The first three felt like punishment until I quit. This one is the first one a real dietitian actually wrote for me — not a copy-paste from a magazine. I have lost nine kilos in five months and I have not once been hungry in a way that scared me.
I am 47 years old and I did not expect to care about a points system. I now wake up curious about which quests are active. My morning walk is no longer walking — it is completing a Zone-2 quest. The framing changed everything.
When I miss a session, somebody texts. When I hit a PR, somebody knows. It does not feel like an app. It feels like a coach who happens to live in my pocket.
I started joining the Saturday morning Buskett meetups and now I have a walking group of six people who message all week. The app made friends I would not have made any other way.
Marvic Debono is a Certified Personal Trainer with an MBA in Sports Management, currently reading for an MSc in Youth Athletic Development. He founded MyPT Malta and built the app. Miriam Saliba is a state-registered dietitian (BSc, University of Malta) and a Certified Personal Trainer. She writes the nutrition plans for every MyPT client.
Both of us have been on the other side of this work. Marvic was once 145kg and unable to move the way he wanted. Miriam reached 100kg before her own turning point. The plans we write you come from people who have stood where you might be standing — and qualified themselves to help you get out of it.
Marvic specialises in adaptive personal training for people with intellectual disabilities. The patience and clarity that work demands quietly raises the bar for how we coach everyone else — no jargon, clear cues, the assumption that you are capable.
Install the app and have a look. Come and train with us at Tal‑Qroqq when it feels right. The work is gentle until it isn't — and we go at the pace you actually want to keep.
